HOW DO I MAKE THE MARINADE?
Simply combine 3 tablespoons of the dry marinade mix with EITHER a 1/4 cup of yogurt OR 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Cover 1 pound of any meat with the marinade and let it sit in the fridge for up to 24 hours. When you're ready, grill, bake or air-fry the meat and enjoy!
WHICH MEAT WORKS BEST WITH THE MARINADE?
All of them! Chicken breasts or thighs, lamb chops, steaks, turkey drumsticks, shrimp and fish filets all explode with flavor with the marinades. Unboring your burgers by marinating ground beef, turkey or chicken.
WHY WOULD I USE YOGURT TO MAKE A MARINADE?
Yogurt is a Marinade MVP. It has a mild tang, a little zing that works with these marinade mixes to get all the flavor deep inside the meat. It also tenderizes meat naturally to keep everything moist. Yogurt has lower fat and fewer calories and is packed with probiotics. We recommend using plain, whole milk yogurt for best results.
HOW DO I APPLY THE MARINADE TO MEAT?
For best results, coat your meat evenly with the marinade making sure to cover every piece thoroughly. Get the marinade into every nook and cranny of the meat.
HOW LONG SHOULD I MARINATE MEAT?
30 minutes is enough to give meats great flavor but, the longer meat marinates, the more the flavor infuses the meat. Marinating meat overnight in the fridge is ideal.
DO I NEED TO WIPE OFF THE MARINADE BEFORE COOKING?
There's no need to wipe it off. The marinade keeps the meat moist during cooking which gives it maximum flavor.
CAN I FREEZE MARINATED MEAT?
We suggest that you freeze marinated meat for no more than 1 month. Thaw it in the refrigerator before cooking and never re-freeze once thawed.
CAN I COOK WITH LEFTOVER MARINADE?
If the marinade has been in contact with raw meat, don’t reuse it. Instead, put a portion of the marinade aside before adding the meat so you can use it later.
ARE THESE MARINADES GLUTEN-FREE AND ALLERGEN-FRIENDLY?
Yes, our dry marinade mixes are gluten-free and made with all-natural, high-quality ingredients. They are made in a facility that might process some allergens so please be cautious.
DO THESE MARINADES EXPIRE?
When stored in a cool, dry place, our dry marinade mixes stays fresh for 24 months. To preserve their quality, always use a clean, dry spoon when measuring.
